A Brazilian Jazz Group

Pan Brazil is not an ordinary bossa-nova band, but they use the Brazilian style of harmony, melody and rhythm to create jazz music with Brazilian overtones. With the setting of flute, guitar, keyboard, bass and percussion, a brilliant and groovy sound is created.

In Addition to Pan Trio the Members are:

Bo Hallgren – Keyboard

Played in the creative jazz-rock group Wasa Express in the seventies. Since he is the cusin of Staffan and Hans they have been playing together for as long as they have existed.

Peter Bylin - Percussion

Is one of the most talented young drummer and percussionists in Sweden. He lives in Stockholm and plays in a number of contemporary constellations playing everything from funk to bossa nova e.g. Latin the Mood, Anders Widmark, Lutricia McNeal)

Deise Andrade – Vocal

Grew up in Brazil in a very musical family with 11 aunties, all with a strong interest in singing. In early age she heard Elis Regina and became passionate listener of her. Also the musicians of Minas Gerais, such as Milton Nascimento and Toniho Horta, along with “os grandes da bossa nova” and Tropicalia members, conquered her heart forever. Deise is nowadays living with her family in Stockholm where she has been working with different musicians and bands. Among them Pan Brazil. In addition to singing she's also running a boutique for jewellery and accessories in Stockholm.
